2 Prerequisites
- Mailchimp account with Owner, Admin, or Manager role (Viewer/Author can't authorize integrations)
- MiN8T workspace - active account, logged in
OAuth vs API Key
- OAuth (Recommended): One-click secure login. Click "Allow" in a pop-up. No technical knowledge needed.
- API Key: For strict security policies. Generate in Mailchimp under Profile > Extras > API Keys.
3 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Start the timer! This takes under 60 seconds.
- Log into MiN8T and open your dashboard
- Click the Integrations tab in the left navigation
- Search for "Mailchimp" or scroll to find it
- Click Connect on the Mailchimp card
- Select Connect via Mailchimp Login (OAuth)
- Enter your Mailchimp credentials in the secure pop-up and click Allow
- The pop-up closes - Mailchimp card now shows a green Connected badge

4 After Connecting
- Export as Template - push designs to Mailchimp's Saved Templates

5 First Export
- Finalize your design in the MiN8T editor
- Run the pre-flight check (top toolbar checkmark icon)
- Click Export (top right)
- Select Mailchimp under Connected ESPs
- Choose Template or Draft Campaign
- Name it, select a folder, click Export to Mailchimp
Open Mailchimp > Campaigns > Email Templates. Your design is there, pixel-perfect.
6 Troubleshooting
- OAuth pop-up blocked: Allow pop-ups from min8t.com in your browser settings
- "Insufficient permissions": Your Mailchimp role must be Admin or Manager, not Viewer
- Connection dropped: Password change or inactivity revokes tokens. Disconnect and reconnect.
- Images missing: Mailchimp limits images to 1MB. Use MiN8T's image compression tool.
